Welcome to B-Town

B‑Town is a fully-inclusive campus along the Montour Trail in McMurray, PA, designed for movement, creativity, learning, and connection. Every space is intentionally built to give individuals with disabilities and their families opportunities to explore, grow, and enjoy time together. From the Activity & Learning Center to Bennett Park and the Sensory Garden, B‑Town offers meaningful places to learn, play, and connect.

    The Activity & Learning Center

The Activity & Learning Center is the heart of B-Town, providing a fully accessible space for programming to take place year-round. The Center features a hands-on teaching kitchen, large gathering space and handicap facilities including an adult-size changing table. Opened in 2024, it allowed us to expand programming 150%.

    Matt’s Garage

Matt’s Garage is named in honor of Bennett’s big brother, Matthew. It’s home to our six adaptive bikes and fleet of e‑bikes that allow families and caregivers to ride alongside our participants. No garage is complete without a workbench, and ours is no different! It has all of the tools our volunteer mechanics need to keep every bike safe, tuned, and ready for miles of smiles.

  • Outdoor seating area with benches and tables in a backyard with a green lawn and a beige fence. There are two signs on the fence, one reading "Always smiling Bennett Park" and a colorful photo of a boy wearing sunglasses and smiling.

    Bennett Park

Bennett Park was our very first gathering spot in B Town. Its soft turf is the perfect place to relax after an adaptive bike ride. Here in the park, participants enjoy our signature post‑program ice cream treats and everything from therapeutic drumming to dancing and harmonica jams offered as part of our creative arts program. Bennet’s big smile is the backdrop to every activity here.

  • A young girl playing in a colorful outdoor playground with worm, bee, and butterfly sculptures, and artificial grass, enclosed by a gray fence, with tall trees in the background.

    The Sensory Garden

The Sensory Garden is an outdoor space designed for movement, exploration, and calm. It is designed to be completely accessible! The playground equipment includes one of the area’s only wheelchair-accessible merry-go-rounds along with texture boxes, musical instruments, teeter totter and a therapeutic swing.

  • An outdoor playground area with a colorful play structure and a glass-enclosed area, with trees in the background under partly cloudy skies.

    The Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is a calming, hands‑on space where participants connect with nature through planting, growing, and caring for living things. It’s home to our Let’s Grow horticulture program, one of Bennett’s favorite therapies. Eventually, the vegetables and herbs grown here will be used in B’s Trailside Cafe.

  • Four smiling people, three women and one young girl, are behind a counter window. They are all wearing red shirts and blue gloves. The girl in front is giving a thumbs-up. The kitchen is visible behind them with white cabinets and a range hood.

    B’s Trailside Café (2027)

B’s Trailside Café will be a welcoming, community-focused space designed to provide vocational learning opportunities while bringing people together along the Montour Trail. Opening in 2027, the café will offer participants hands-on experiences that build confidence, skills, and a sense of contribution.
