More Than a Walk.
A Shared Experience.

Miles for Smiles is a 5K walk/run—but it’s not about pace or distance. It’s about showing up. It’s about families, friends, and supporters coming together to celebrate what makes this community so special.

You’ll see it in the smiles, feel it in the conversations, and experience it in the moments that unfold throughout the day. Whether you walk, run, roll, or simply spend time with us, you’re part of something meaningful.

Why We Walk

We walk to remember a remarkable boy named Bennett who always found reasons to smile despite all his health challenges. Miles for Smiles holds a special meaning this year as we gather on the anniversary of Bennett’s passing. We walk in loving memory of a remarkable boy who faced significant health challenges, yet never stopped finding reasons to smile. Bennett’s joy was contagious, his laugh unforgettable, and his spirit continues to inspire everything we do. This year marks 6 years since Bennett left this world, but his impact continues to grow in ways we could have never imagined. Each step you take during the Miles for Smiles 5K honors his life and helps create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families we serve to live life to the fullest.
