◉ Where Joy and Inclusion Meet

Everyone deserves to be seen, celebrated and included.

Always B Smiling brings joy, connection, and possibility to families of children and young adults with disabilities through inclusive, no-cost programs, dedicated one-to-one support, and a community that truly understands.

◉ Inspired by Bennett

Built from love. Growing with purpose.

Always B Smiling began as a living legacy for Bennett Huibregtse, whose joy, laughter, and unmistakable smile continue to guide our mission. After Bennett passed, his parents set out to create the safe spaces and meaningful opportunities they longed for, sharing the activities he loved and the experiences they wished existed for families like theirs.

Today, that legacy has grown into a vibrant community of families, volunteers, and supporters who believe in building spaces where everyone belongs and joy is something we create together. It’s rooted in the belief that families deserve connection and support through every stage of life.

◉ Welcome to B Town

Where everyone can just be themselves.

Always B Smiling was created to give families something many struggle to find: a place where they can relax, connect, and simply enjoy being together.

Here, children and young adults with disabilities are supported by caring people who want to be here. Each participant is supported by our Program Director and paired with a volunteer Buddee who provides focused attention, encouragement, and genuine connection. Parents can participate (or take a breath) knowing their loved one is safe, understood, and celebrated.

No pressure. No pretending. Just genuine connection and joy.

◉ Programs

Something for every interest and every season of life.

Our complimentary programs create inclusive, engaging, and joyful experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families. Each offering is thoughtfully designed to foster connection, build confidence, and inspire smiles at every age and stage.

◉ Our Difference

Built around people, not checklists.

Not Drop-Off Care

Caregivers stay on‑site to ensure safety and share in the experience. Participants are paired with volunteer buddies who offer focused attention and authentic connection.

Whole-Family Support

Parents, siblings, and caregivers are part of the experience! You can join in, connect with others, or take time for yourself.

A Community That Gets It

Families tell us they feel seen here because everyone around them understands what everyday life can look like.

◉ Impact

Growing because families trust us.

What started as a way to honor one child has become a place that supports families because the need is real, and the joy is shared.

  • Hundreds of families served across the South Hills

  • Thousands of volunteer hours given with heart

  • Programs supporting children, young adults, and their families

  • A fast-growing community built almost entirely by word of mouth

◉ Get Involved

There’s a place for you here, too.
